Baxmeyer Construction Inc. was founded by K. R. Baxmeyer in 1959. We are based in Waterloo, Illinois, and employ a staff of personnel with more than 200 years experience in Highway, Drainage and Bridge Construction.
Initially, Baxmeyer Construction Inc. was engaged mostly in local excavation, grading, storm, sanitary sewer and water main projects. However, the company has gradually expanded its operations over the years to include projects on all levels, municipal through federal, while still maintaining operations on local streets, roads, subdivisions, utility projects and commercial development.
Our primary classification of work is heavy highway construction, which includes Earthwork, PCC Paving, Soil Stabilization, Sanitary & Storm Sewers, Aggregate Bases & Surfaces, Concrete Curb & Gutter and Sidewalks, Highway Structures, Demolition, and Asphalt Paving
We regularly bid on projects in which we utilize minority and small business firms.
Our firm has an excellent reputation for Quality Work, Completion on Time, and Expedient Project Close-out.
Baxmeyer Construction Inc. maintains good working relationships with appropriate governing agencies, thrives on exceeding projected work schedules while stressing and monitoring quality control.
Our projects are manned by regional labor organizations including Operating Engineers, Laborers, Carpenters, Teamsters, and others. These organizations have furnished well-qualified individuals and have cooperated with Baxmeyer Construction Inc. to create a productive and a trouble free working environment.
